I also have an autistic son named Tomás. He is 5 years old and doesn't talk much yet, but even through his gestures, he helps me with everything (including keeping up with his twin sister!). Whenever I ask something and she hesitates, he steps in and makes sure things get done. It's just amazing how clear they can be!
